Some varieties are limited to a household.  Please do not go over the limit or your purchase will be refunded.

Shipping is available for the United States 48 contiguous states only and will begin mid-April.  I will do my best to combine shipping for orders going to the same address.  Please send your order numbers to adornflowerfarm@gmail.com by April 10, 2025.  Out of respect for my neighbors, I will not be able to offer a local pick-up.

All Idaho residents will be charged a 6% sales tax.

Please open your tuber package immediately when you receive to inspect it’s condition.  If there are any concerns, please reach out directly to adornflowerfarm@gmail.com within 5 business days.  Your tubers will be placed in individual bags with vermiculite, labeled with the variety name, and planting instructions.  Tubers come in all shapes and sizes; many of the unicorn varieties often have smaller or thin tubers.  Often they remain unicorns for this reason as they are harder to store and/or produce limited tubers.  Each tuber will contain at least one eye.  Some tubers can be challenging to divide; in this case, I leave the tubers together as to not destroy eyes.  I do my best to ensure that tubers are true to variety.  However, mislabels due happen and when it does, we want to make it right.  Should you receive a mislabel please contact me at adornflowerfarm@gmail.com no later than Septemer 15, 2025 with a photo and order number.

We here at the farm take dahlia virus seriously. During harvest pruning shears are sanitized between cuttings.  Tools are sanitized at fall cut down between each plant along with pitchforks.  Each sniper is sanitized between tuber divisions.  We subscribe to an aggressive culling practice of pulling any dahlias that look diseased and practice the strategy “when in doubt, throw it out.”  Along with sanitization practice, we practice a multi-faceted approach to pest management including organics and beneficials.  As in the real world, eliminating virus and disease is impossible.  The American Dahlia Society has estimated that approximately 87% of dahlias carry one or more virus and can be asymptomatic.  We have used Agdia for testing virus; but at this time testing all dahlias is cost prohibitive as well as unpractical as vectors are possible immediately after testing. There is a certain amount of risk you accept when you purchase and grow dahlias.  We are not able to guarantee that our dahlia tubers are virus free.  We do not offer refunds for any virus and/or disease.

Nature is unpredictable force.  Dahlia tubers are living and perishable.  Sometimes our best storage efforts are not enough to keep a tuber happy.  My promise is that we will not ship a tuber that we would not want to receive.  This means we may need to cancel and refund your purchase.  We are not able to provide refunds due to poor growing conditions including but not limited to neglect, rot, drought, bad weather, pests and vermin.
